Living Fully

Well said.

Mindful Creativity

“Waking up this morning, I smile. Twenty-four brand new hours are before me. I vow to live fully in each moment and look at beings with the eyes of compassion.”

-Thich Nhat Hanh

The first hope is to live fully in daily life, and to nourish a joyful life, to grow happiness, peace, freedom, partly through taking care of and transforming sorrow, despair, and suffering. And to be creative out of this fullness.

The plan is to spend 5, 10, 20 or more minutes in the morning and evening meditating, and to hold a day of mindfulness once a week. It’s a day of deep relaxing, of coming home, slowing down, nurturing body and soul, and growing love and compassion.

How timely! I’ve been thinking about how I need to slow down and cherish life more.
